1. Platform Role
SUP is a technology platform that connects buyers and sellers of goods. We are a marketplace facilitator, not a buyer, seller, agent, or broker. SUP does not own, inspect, verify, or control any of the items listed on the platform. All transactions are conducted directly between users.
SUP takes no commission on a sale and does not handle the money that passes between a buyer and a seller. SUP does charge for some of its own optional features, which are separate from the sale of an item and are described in section 6 of the Terms of Service. Nothing you pay SUP makes SUP a party to a sale, or a guarantor of any user, item or deal.
2. No Warranty on Listings
SUP does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or authenticity of any listing posted by users. We make no representations or warranties regarding:
- The quality, condition, or description of listed items
- The authenticity or originality of products
- Whether a seller has legal title to the items they list
- Whether listed prices are fair or market-accurate
- The availability of any item at the time of inquiry
Users are solely responsible for independently verifying all information provided in listings before entering into any transaction.
3. Transaction Disclaimer
SUP facilitates connections between users but is not a party to any transaction. We are not responsible for:
- The completion, failure, or cancellation of any transaction
- Payment disputes between buyers and sellers
- Loss, theft, or damage to items during or after a transaction
- Misrepresentation or fraud by any user
- Personal safety risks associated with in-person meetups
- Items that do not match their listing description
4. User-Generated Content
All listings, messages, reviews, and other content on SUP are created by users. SUP does not endorse, guarantee, or take responsibility for user-generated content. Content reflects the views of individual users, not SUP.
While we moderate content that violates our policies, we cannot review every listing or message. If you encounter content that you believe violates our Terms of Service or applicable law, please report it using the in-app reporting feature.
5. Safety Disclaimer
Meeting strangers always carries risk. SUP strongly recommends:
- Meeting in busy, well-lit public places (shopping malls, police station parking lots, coffee shops)
- Bringing a friend or family member for high-value transactions
- Informing someone you trust about the meetup details
- Never sharing your home address with buyers or sellers you don't know
- Trusting your instincts — if something feels wrong, cancel the transaction
- Verifying items thoroughly before handing over payment
SUP is not liable for any harm, injury, or loss that occurs in connection with in-person transactions arranged through the platform.
6. Technical Disclaimer
While we strive to maintain the highest availability and performance, SUP does not guarantee that the Service will be:
- Available at all times or without interruption
- Free from errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities
- Compatible with all Android devices and OS versions
- Free from data loss in all circumstances
We perform regular maintenance and security updates. We will endeavour to notify users in advance of planned downtime.
7. Third-Party Services
SUP uses the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Railway — server infrastructure and PostgreSQL hosting
- Cloudinary — image upload, storage, and optimization
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — website hosting
- Expo — push notification delivery
- Razorpay — payment processing for SUP's own paid features
We are not responsible for the availability, security, or practices of these third-party services. Their respective terms of service and privacy policies apply.
8. The Verified User Badge
The Verified User badge means that the account holder completed an identity check with SUP. That is all it means. It is not an endorsement of that person, of anything they list, or of any deal you do with them, and it is not a guarantee that a transaction will go well. Inspect the item and satisfy yourself about the person, badge or no badge.
9. Promoted Listings
An Ad shown on the home screen, or published immediately rather than after review, is there because the seller paid SUP for that placement. Placement is not a recommendation by SUP and says nothing about the quality, condition or price of the item. Promoted Ads are subject to the same rules as every other Ad and are removed if they break them.
10. External Links
The Service may contain links to external websites or resources. SUP has no control over and accepts no responsibility for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party websites.
11. Accuracy of Information
While we make reasonable efforts to keep the information on this website accurate and up-to-date, we make no warranties about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or suitability of any information. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, SUP, its officers, employees, partners, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use or inability to use the Service
- Any transactions conducted through the platform
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any bugs, viruses, or other malicious code transmitted through the Service
- Any errors or omissions in any content
