Is SUP Really Free?
Yes. Posting an Ad, browsing and chatting cost nothing, and SUP takes no commission on your sale. If optional extras are ever charged for, you’ll see the price before you pay, and nothing renews on its own.
How Long Before My Ad Goes Live?
A person checks every Ad before it appears, usually within eight hours. Every Ad waits for the same check, and there is no paying to skip it.
Will Buyers See My Phone Number or Address?
No. You chat inside SUP, so your number stays private until you decide to share it. Buyers see an approximate area of about half a kilometre, never your exact location. Agree a meeting point in chat, somewhere public.
How Does SUP Help Me Avoid Scams?
SUP’s chat looks for the patterns scammers use, such as a QR code to “receive” money, a request for your UPI PIN or OTP, an advance payment or courier charge, or a push to move to WhatsApp. When it finds one, it shows a Be Careful warning with buttons to report the person or get help. It can’t catch every scam, so meet in person and check the item before any money moves.
What Can I Sell on SUP?
Mobiles, cars, bikes and scooters, electronics and appliances, furniture, fashion, books, sports and hobby gear, pets, commercial vehicles and spares, and properties to rent or buy. You can post jobs and services too.
How Do I Know if I’m Dealing With an Owner or a Dealer?
Every Ad is labelled Owner or Dealer. Each profile also shows when the person joined, how quickly they usually reply, how many items they’ve sold and whether their phone number is verified.
Which Languages Does SUP Work In?
Thirteen: English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Odia, Assamese and Urdu. This website works in all of them too.
What Happens to the Details I Give You Now?
They are kept in our own database and used for one thing: telling you when SUP is ready. We don’t sell them or pass them to advertisers, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
